Meet the Team

Picture
The Cows On Tour team is made up of farmers and countryside dwellers who have a passion to share the food and farming story.  To educate youngsters to know where their food comes from and how it gets to their plate.  The Team believe this is so important.  The Team also want to inspire youngsters about farming and the countryside.

Abi is a 3rd generation farmer, the farm is mixed, which means they have dairy, sheep, arable and horse haulage and is based just outside of Cardiff.  Abi LOVES her job from the inside out! However, she didn’t always know she was going to be a farmer, in fact she didn’t realise it was a career option.  By complete chance she applied to study agriculture at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester and the day she arrived, she knew what she really wanted to do – farm.
‘Cows On Tour is many things to me, but first and foremost it’s about sharing the total joy I get from farming’.

Matt loves being involved with COT as it gets him to the 'grass roots' level to educate the next generation about food and farming. Matts passion and drive for this tour is infectious!
